History

In 1948 Tein and An den Ouden started a contracting firm for which soon a modern threshing machine was bought. This constituted the modest foundation for a company that has in the meantime widely expanded. The contracting work was extended and in the seventies the board of directors decided to broaden its horizon and to concentrate more on civil and agricultural engineering works.

De Vlagheide

The experiences gained during the maintenance of the regional refuse dump “De Vlagheide” with environmental care and recycling induced the company to also concentrate on the processing of green residual currents.

Parallel to this growth the supporting divisions for transport, storage and transfer have unfolded into professional service providers.
All developments result finally in the formation of DEN OUDEN GROEP: a medium-sized traditional family business with approximately 170 employees, where the old values and standards are linked to modern management.
